"Intense aromas of crushed stones, metal, pear blossoms and smoke. Full-bodied and layered, with phenolic framing. Long, flavorful finish with hints of yogurt, brioche dough and umami in the aftertaste. 18 months on the lees. Drink now."
TASTING NOTES
WINEMAKER NOTES
The 2022 growing season was characterized by a cold, wet spring and latebudburst. These conditions coupled with hot days and cooler nights wereoptimal in creation of acidity balance for this vintage. Warm and dryconditions prevailed through summer and early fall and were ideal for thedevelopment of berry colour, flavour, and tannin level and resulted in higherthan average berry number and weight.
VINEYARD NOTES
Our vineyard in the Similkameen Valley has extremely rocky soils and long, hot days. This vineyard has the potential to be one of the greatest sites for white wines in the Okanagan.
